Ghost Bowling

A fun seasonal activity filled with sensory opportunities. This activity works on Sequencing, Visual motor skills, Gross motor coordination, Vestibular & Proprioceptive skills, Fine Motor and Bilateral skills .

Ghost Bowling Steps by Kozie Clothes

Materials:

  • Download fun ghost pictures in different sizes

  • 6 rolls of paper towels

  • Tape

  • Scissors

  • Pumpkin



Ghost Bowling Steps by Kozie Clothes

Steps:

  • Print out 21 ghosts of different sizes and fun expressions.

  • Cutting out the ghosts, is a great way to work on scissor skills.

  • Tape 1 ghost for first Roll , 2 on the second, and so on until the last roll has 6.

  • Set up rolls in sequence 1, 2 & 3 on the bottom level, 4, 5 on the 2nd level and 6 on the top level.

  • Bowl the Ghosts over with the pumpkin! Have your child count how many rolls they knocked down, or count how many ghosts in all.

Variations:

  • Lay prone over exercise ball support self with one arm and throw bean bags or balls at the ghosts. (switch arms)

  • Kick ball toward ghosts.

  • Wheelbarrow walk to set up bowling game.
